What is FSM?

Frequency Specific Microcurrent, or FSM, is a technique using very low levels of electrical current to treat pain, reduce inflammation and swelling and promote healing.

In our practice,

FSM is often utilized in conjunction with osteopathy. Your initial session will be scheduled with Dr. Helstrom for an hour. In this appointment, she will discuss your current concerns and assess your body with an osteopathic physical exam. Then she will apply the FSM and often treat you osteopathically as well.
